It was like waking in a new world far inferior from the one she once knew. As true it was that the land shared many beautiful sights, it was nothing like home. Home. A place she missed dearly, but could sadly never return to. This place would have to do.

Deep in a forest of thicket was where Alstroemeria soon found herself after weeks of travel. Her heart was wrenched upon seeing a place so unsightly. The brambles coiled themselves tightly, and the leaves were soiled and bland in color. Who could ever yearn to call such a place their home?

On... and on... and on. Her paws carried her onward, restless but relenting all at once. She needed to find him. Him? Who was he? ... the unnamed man. Twas' a pitiful thing. He'd never given her name. Oh, how was she supposed to find him now! Of course, he would be recognized by his appearance, but what was a wolf without a name? None that she would ask would be of any use without one to provide.

So, where did that leave her? Nowhere. That's where.

Sure, she'd made it this far... but, how was she to know whether or not she was even in the right place? Was this what he'd called the "teekon wilds"? If only a miracle would come and shove a native wolf right before her paws. Yes, that would do the trick. There was bound to be someone in this forsaken forest that would know where in the blazes she was.

Now, to find that someone....

"FeathersfeathersFEATHERS!" An excited slur of words burbled from the bundle of energy. She pawed hastily at the pile of feathers, left behind by a grouse which had lost at least a good portion of its tail, if not more, some time recently. She rolled in them, allowing a few of the littler feathers to get stuck in her wild tangle of dark fur. When she stood and shook herself, a few fell out- but not all of them. She grabbed some of the bigger feathers- long, thin beige feathers with thin bands of brown- and stuck them into the fur along her back, as close to her shoulders as she could reach.

She'd begun to trot forward, hoping in this thicket to find either more grouse feathers to add to her plumage or a grouse she could eat...Which would then give her more feathers to stick into her fur. But rather than a bird, she spotted a wolf- or what she thought was a wolf, though it was hard to tell at a distance, as the creature looked as though it had no ears.

"Oh, hay? Hey, you?" She called out, bounding forward a bit before she stopped. Yeah, it was a wolf, but with no ears. "Woah, where'd yer uh," She asked, before she changed her mind. That'd be rude. "Yo, you seen any burds aroun' here?  Like any kind, but preferably like partridges er grouse er pheasants er somethin' along those lines. You seen anything around here like that?"
