she was as pretty as she was stupid. it didn't even occur to the royal git that she was being played a fool -- she lapped up his accolades thirstily, as a queen would expect from her subjects. his kiss, however, she had not been expecting -- with surprise she reeled back and eyed him snobbily, unsure of his approach.
