Let us take a moment to appreciate the fact that Error voted for such an amazing title to be used. XD @Faith . We got this, Pika.

After accepting his old friendwho he's totally going to set up with Hiko when Heichou joins—into the pack, Kove had somehow been kept from seeing her right away again. It was most likely pack and leadership duties that had kept him preoccupied, but even he didn't know. With the warm months well in swing, he had things he needed to do, and more prey he could help scout out for the weekly hunts. Several times he'd left the valley to go out for that very purpose, as well as to try and recruit new members, but it seemed the recruitment trips had been unnecessary. Sure, they'd had a rough patch where their numbers had gone down significantly, but they'd made it through. More wolves had started to find the valley, and some even wished to join it. One of said wolves even happened to be from his past, having joined Blackfeather shortly after he did. Her presence in the dark woods hadn't lasted long, and he'd never been too sure she was truly meant for such a dark place, but was glad that she had accidentally come across him once she'd returned to the valley. He was curious to know where she'd gone, what had lead her away, but had decided against asking back when he accepted her into Bearclaw, and would probably continue to do so. It was her business, after all, and Kove's writer already knows the answer anyways, because wyanut.

The pale king made his way through the valley, intent on finding his friend. It had been awhile since they'd seen one another, and he was eager to simply see her face. Though he hadn't recognized her back under the shadows of the woods they both use to occupy, seeing her in the light of day when he'd accepted her into the valley had jogged his memory. He recalled seeing her before, back within his birth pack, but they'd never spoken too often. He was sure she hadn't been born into it, but had instead joined at a later time, but he could not quite remember. Either way, it was of little importance. After a few minutes of trotting through the valley, the scent he'd been searching for entered his leathery nose and he started heading towards it. It lead him to Faith, and he put on a small smile. “Getting around here okay?” he inquired, not missing a beat as he walked up beside her. “It's nice to see an old face around here.” Kove was truly happy to have a fellow wolf there who had not only been apart of the dark woods, but had also resided within the icy-looking cave of the forest.
