Silence's mother was an arctic wolf whom had a fascination with 'two-legs' though she avoided them. Her mother, Dina, liked to watch them from the hills surrounding their town and that was where she came across a husky named Sled. Sled was initially wary of Dina, due to her being a wild animal but she proved to be a kind individual. The two continued to meet up everyday in the hills and soon became close friends, falling for each other soon after. When Dina came into heat, Sled mated with her and she fell pregnant with his pups.

Sled ran away from his home, Dina abandoned her pack. The two set out to form a pack of their own but Sled was inexperienced in the wilderness, perishing after a moose trampled him. Dina was left alone and pregnant. Luckily for her she came across another lone male, and while he was not Sled he would be able to help care for her children. This male, Wen, became her mate though she didn't love him.

The pups were born in early January, the only to resembled Sled was Silence. Dina found it hard to love Silence, only able to see her dead mate in the child. The rest of Silence's siblings were given names and loved dearly. Silence remained pushed to the side, Dina only caring for the pup out of obligation to Sled. As the pup got older it became clear she could not hear, thus why she never made a sound. Dina named her Silence.

Silence was 5 months old when her mother chased her from the territory, never to return. The girl had only just begun learning about how to survive and surely would have perished on her own. She was taken in by a kind she-wolf who was alone, Niylah.

Niylah raised Silence, nick-naming her 'Red.' When Silence was a year and a half, Niylah dissapeared. Silence searched for her but found no sign of where her adoptive mother had gone. Desolate, the teen wandered alone for months.

Now at 2 years, Silence has arrived in the Teekon Wilds.
