His face is a handsome blend of his father's sharp European features and his mother's dark coloring. He is an average 44 inches tall and muscular in his shoulders and legs. While not a broad specimen, he has powerful lungs--a swimmer's body.

Alex's coloring can only be described as bay--dark chestnut blankets him, darkening to black on his legs, muzzle, and tail. A characteristic black stripe runs down his shoulders to the base of his tail. Except for some lighter pinprick of tan above his brow, no paler shade is found on his body. His eyes are almost black in color: pupils indistinguishable from irises.
