Anarteq's thick alaskan coat is white and pale grey at the root, growing darker to form a smokey outer appearance. The darker fur is a mixture of black, slate grey and silver. The fur is particularly dark around her eyes, ears and along the bridge of her muzzle, making her fiery golden eyes stand out upon her face. Pale white fur frames the lower half of her jawline, and wraps around her neck and chest. It also covers her toes and top of her paws, as if they were constantly dusted in snow.

The female is medium in size, with a strong yet feminine build. The thickness of her fur can make Anarteq appear more bulky, though beneath that fur there is a lean, athletic physique built for strength and stamina. The tundra wolf often holds a proud, confident stance, and uses body language as a primary form of communication to assert her dominance.

Anarteq is obedient, resilient and loyal to a point, though she never loses sight of her own goals and intentions. She will work hard and follow the instructions of her superiors, only if she can see the benefit that it will bring to her or her pack mates. She will not hesitate to speak up or go against orders if she believes she has been wronged or mistreated in some way, and will against those she once form close relationships with for her own personal gain.
