Born under a bright, new moon surrounded by the calls of red-tailed hawks, affectionately called Losi, “Rose”, was given the name Adageyhdi Kawoni, “Love Flower Moon”, in her tribe’s language. She met her companion, Tawodi, a male red-tailed hawk, the night of her birth, though she wouldn’t come to know him until she was old enough to understand the meaning of his presence in her life. Her beginnings were quiet, not out of the ordinary, a rather typical development and growth of a child born in the village alongside her sisters.

When she reached her 12th moon, their Agigaue, the village Elder and Medicine Woman, sent her on a coming-of-age journey. She still has some soul searching to do and decided the Teekon Wilds was the place to finish out her quest.
