How do I make an account on Slack?

Ok I don't know why this is so hard for me, but when I click the chat button in the corner, it takes me to the slack website, but says I need an invitation to make an account on slack. I don't know if anyone else has this issue, but I can't seem to figure it what to do next. Any advice would be awesome <3
