Ocean's Breath Plateau are you feelin it now

Hoping for some of the 'breeze babies! @Silvertip and/or @Ponderosa?

He was going out further than ever, well supervised but wily and quick. He wasn't meant to be so far out of his parents' view, but he'd heard talk of other kids somewhere in the territory, and he wanted to see them.

It was by sheer, dumb luck that he happened across the den. There was a scent like his own mothers' and a faint little squeaking from inside. Angel Oak having a nightmare, though he didn't know it or her, of course.

He took a deep breath;

"HEY! WHO'S THERE?" he hollered, his tone polite but his volume obscene. He spoke seal hunter words, though he knew the same phrase in common.

Ponderosa was playing nearby the den mouth with her sister @Silvertip, under the watchful eye of Mama, who was fiddling inside, cleaning the den, when she heard a young voice like her own. 

She looked up from where she sat, as her sister and her pawed a shell around. There was a young pup, much like herself. She hadn’t a large vocabulary yet, but she had learned basic greetings: “Hewo.” She replied in a soft voice, “Fwend?” She was unsure, but her little ears perked forward, her little tail brushing the sand.

She was distracted by the voice, the turned her head to see who it was. A young fella, she followed her sister over, “Hello!” Her tail wagged, did this lad wanna play? Where were his parents?

She came closer, and smelled him, “sea.” He smelled like the sea, she backed off, inspection done. This one was a good pup! She was confident and playful, whereas her sister was more reserved and shy. She loved her sister though.
