Nivis woke up dizzy and with a headache, which certainly was the herbs’ fault, but not a serious one. A side effect was hypothetically better than a death by a murder. Maybe the guy decided to torture him furthermore and restrict him from reaching the blessing of death; making it then such a vicious plan Nivis deserved to fall at the end of.

He felt much better though.

The meds helped him to rest and finally get a high quality sleep he didn’t wake up from at all. Thank god. Now the more difficult task came: dealing with Reyna and his children's situation. And even if Nivis felt better physically, mentally not at all. He needed to gather himself and sort his thoughts out.

Thoughts about how to be a better father and a partner. He was nearly ready though… To go back to fulfill his role.
