@Wildfire because I love their bonding moment. I left it timeless, can be the next day or several days after the accident. :)
Sebastian felt bad when the pup asked for his attention while she was taken away by her mother. The poor thing. Sebastian would have done nothing rather but he was sort of afraid of Fox to be honest. He stayed with the others where Finley told the horrible truth about the death that occurred. It had been one of Peregrine's earlier children. A brief vision of he himself and that back pup appeared before him. Only it was Burke that was killing him, that black pup that was injured mildly and he that had been dead and lifeless on the ground. Maybe he shouldn't threat his father.
For now he pushed his own troubles out of the way and went to find his little girlfriend, in a totally non-sexual and pervert way. Sebastian sniffed out several den sites before finding the one that as currently occupied. Sebastian let out an audible whine when he saw the badger den. He would never fit into that! He was like a cow trying to go down a rabbit hole, or at least it felt like that. He pushed his oversized head a bit inside. "Wifi...," he called. "Sebbie is here."

Love the title! :D
Her golden brown eyes slowly cracked open when someone called her name. Groggily, the pup lifted her head. Her Aunt @Dove was posted a few feet inside of the den, though she stepped aside to allow Sebastian to poke his head inside. He looked sort of goofy, trying to cram himself into the little space, and Wildfire giggled. She stopped immediately and grimaced when it proved extremely painful. Talking, swallowing, even breathing were all excruciating at times.
But she managed a wan little smile for her visitor. Sleepily, she pushed herself into a seated position, licking her dry lips. She then nudged Sebastian and tried to scoot past him into the open air. The little red wolf stretched, then blinked up at the male. She was happy to see him and it was clear in her sparkling eyes and the wave of her little black tail. There was something comforting about his presence, now and when he'd shielded her from the violent chaos of yore.

Thanks! :D
As it turns out, Sebastian won the why girl's loyalty by shielding her from the fight. Sebastian looked even funnier, and sillier, when he tried to smile with his head close to being stuck at the entrance. Her giggle was cute, soon he felt guilty for making her giggle since it obviously hurt her. Sebastian pulled his head out of the den when Wifi wanted to exit. Sebastian fell down on his butt and watched her happy little face and wagging tail. "I'm glad to see you too," he returned, his own tail wagging at the same pace. Maybe Sebastian was much of an inner child himself in a way that he felt so comfortable with the girl.
Instantly the big male got up and curled around her once more. Only not as tightly as he did when the battle was raging. He sniffed her wounds just briefly. "Did you sleep well? Is Princess Wifi feeling better?," he asked her. He decided to go with yes and no questions so she could answer him, and they would have a bit of a conversation going. Sebastian would be happy to just only give her cuddles but that might be weird. "Hungry?," he then asked. Since Sebastian's main tactics were; cuddles and food. Who didn't like that?

When Sebastian moved closer to her, Wildfire touched the tip of her snout to the gray male's shoulder, then gave him a lick. Her tail never stopped wagging. He had brought her food that one time, then sheltered her during the metaphorical storm. Now he was her fast friend. He wasn't quite as high up in her books as her godparents, though he had already eclipsed the likes of her other aunts, easily.
"Did you sleep well?" She thought on that a second, then nodded. "Is Princess Wifi feeling better?" Her lips twitched. She considered that one just as seriously, then shrugged a red shoulder. She didn't feel terrible but she didn't feel good either. She had the world's sorest throat right now. "Hungry?" The pup shook her head. She truly wasn't, though even if her stomach had been growling, she might have turned down food. Swallowing hurt.
But she might have to make a bit of sacrifice because she was definitely thirsty. Thirsty, she mouthed to Sebastian before dropping her eyes and roving to a nearby puddle. She planted her rear end beside it, then carefully bent over the water and took slow, painstaking laps. Each time her throat constricted, it hurt, though the cold water was also soothing in a way.
When she finished, she licked her chops and gazed at Sebastian expectantly, hoping he would provide some sort of entertainment.

Sebastian studied her movement to get his answers. Yes, she had slept well. Which was good. He didn't want her to have any nightmares, maybe it went so quick she didn't realize what happened. After that he had been there to shield her and Nightjar from the blood and gore. Sebastian would feel so guilty if he would find out about Raven and how damaged she was from watching. Luckily the male was still clueless.
Sebastian figured that she wasn't hungry. He watched in shared pain with how much difficulty the pup drank. He hated seeing her in pain. It was like every sip hurt. Then he thought about his mother and what she offered him one. "Hold on!," he spoke and jumped to his feet. Sebastian was far from a healer. Sebastian nosed through the air, he knew here was a beehive since Tiger had found one that one time they met.
Sebastian spotted one in the tree and thanks to his height the could jump up high enough to reach the lower branch and knock the hive from the tree. After that he needed to run quickly and evade the bees. In the end Sebastian returned, dripping wet, with a few itchy sting marks and a large piece of the inner side of the hive. He placed it before her. "Lick it. It helps," he assured. Honey was always good for a raw throat.
He sat down again, scratching the itchy point on his chest and on his upper front leg. Damn those insects. "Does it help?," he asked.

Aw, Seb is the sweetest.
"Hold on!" he declared and immediately scrambled away, leaving Wildfire to blink after him with a mildly puzzled look on her face. While she waited, she looked down at her reflection in the pool of water. She looked the same as always, though she could see the ragged wounds on her neck. She tried putting her face closer to her reflection but that only blocked her view of the injuries. Instead, she swiveled sideways and tipped her head. She could see them clearly, if only out of the corner of her eye. They looked sort of gnarly.
That's when her companion returned with some strange object clutched in his teeth. He dropped it in front of her and Wildfire bent to sniff at it. "Lick it," Sebastian coaxed her. Her amber eyes lifted to him. What is it? she mouthed at him. Because she trusted him, she didn't want for an answer before doing what she was told. It tasted as sweet as it smelled. Something strange and sticky coated her tongue. Wildfire wrinkled her nose.
Then she swallowed automatically, sending a mouthful of the goo down the hatch. It hurt when the lump passed the bruised part of her throat, though there was some relief as it coated her esophagus just like it had her tongue. The puppy smacked her lips, her tongue going crazy as she tried to lick the thick goop off her fangs. Meanwhile, she smiled uncertainly at Sebastian, not quite sure what to make of it all.

Big teddy, yes. :D
The young girl looked so confused with what he presented to her. He quirked up the corners of his mouth a bit into somewhat of a smile. "It is honey, a bee makes it," he explained. He had finally gotten what Wifi wanted last time. She wanted to be a Naturalist and realizing this Sebastian was going to remember to take her to a beehive next time so she could learn about the honey process. He himself wasn't an expert he had to do with what he could remember from his mother. The concept seemed simple. Flower, bee, honey.
The large male laid down. "It helps when a throat hurts, and seeing how difficult it was for you to swallow this will hopefully help," he explained. "It might be a bit weird but hopefully it will help. If not then let me know. I won't get any more honey for you." There were some sugars in it, although natural, he hoped that he wouldn't cause a sugar high for Wildfire. He relocated himself to lay next to her, his body shielding her from the light breeze that blew over the lands. "What would be a good game to play?," he thought out loud.

One of her large ears splayed sideways at the mention of bees. Wildfire loved bugs, though bees were among her least favorite because they tended to sting, which hurt. Up until now, she had no idea they did anything else, like create honey... and she hadn't known about honey until this very moment. Her lips were now sticking together and it was the strangest sensation. She pulled a series of peculiar faces as she dealt with it.
Of course, as soon as her mouth felt better, she went for more. She was still deciding whether she loved or hated it. This time, she smashed her paw against the piece of honeycomb, coating it in the sticky stuff. She then plunged it in her mouth. She sucked on her paw like some fantastic lollipop, then eventually removed it. It was still very sticky and grass stuck to it when Wildfire placed it back on the ground.
Sebastian asked a question that required more than a simple yes or no answer. In reply, Wildfire batted at his snout with her sticky, honey- and grass-covered paw, wiping some of the goo on his face. She smiled.

Sebastian scrunched up his nose when Wildfire placed her sticky paw against his muzzle. He then chuckled and tried to reach it with his tongue, of course he could reach some of it but the upper bit was difficult to reach. He over exaggerated it so it would look more silly and funny for the young girl. Sebastian then decided it was payback time and grabbed the sticky honey comb and smeared it against the side of her muzzle. Sebastian could be such a puppy sometimes.
He used his own paw to rub off the honey he couldn't reach, but it only made it worse. He would bathe himself later. Now Wildfire had his undivided attention. He had to pay attention since this could perfectly well end up being a honey fight and they would both need a bath.

Sebastian repaid the favor by wiping a smear of honey on the side of her muzzle. The puppy's tongue immediately flicked out, licking at it. The stuff was so thick and gooey that it was impossible to get it all, though. Wildfire ended up dropping her front end and wiping her snout in the grass. It hurt her neck a little to do that, though, so she quickly gave up and flopped on the ground with a quiet huff.
Now that she was down here, Wildfire felt awfully sleepy. She was a lively and energetic youngster, though something about the stress of attempted murder really put a wrench in the works. Plus, healing required lots of rest. Without at all meaning to do so, the puppy fell fast asleep right there and began to snore, the rest of the honey drying into a hard, crusty glob on her snout that would take her mother ages to clean off later. But at least her throat would feel a little better!

Awww <3 Thank you for this thread!
Sebastian smiled when Wildfire looked so tired. She was still so adorable. He laid down next to her while she was sleeping. The large male made sure to clean off the honey out of her fur so it wouldn't make her uncomfortable. Sebastian decided to take a bath later on. He laid with her for a moment, chatting a bit with @Dove for the time being. Sebastian finally felt more settled in maybe it was because Wildfire had a liking to him now.
Eventually the male got up to report for his patrol duties, Fox wanted extra patrols after all. He couldn't slouch now. Especially not with other wolves that might come to their borders with bad intentions. His size might intimidate them.
