"Solarus? Come back! Where'd you go?"
On cue with Keres' words, the dame turned back and ran towards the direction assumed to be Sol's escape path. No way was she letting her brother run from her without a proper reunion -- its been so long since they'd last met! There was so much to talk about, so much to say, but none of that could be relayed without finding him first. Had he followed Luna all the way from home?

Solarus stomped across the terrain, swiping at lolling branches and unsuspecting bugs. The prideful male was losing his composure a bit, uncommitted to a current direction or even destination for that matter. That was her? Clear as day. He wasn’t imagining it? Lunaria.
He stopped for a moment, letting out a frustrated sigh. He gave his broad shoulders a simple shake, as if to realign his thoughts. Composure. He needed to regain his composure. That was the way of a warrior.
She looked so—different now—worlds apart and loyalties shifted. How could things ever return to any resemblance of what they use to be? He had so much to tell her and he just—he was so relieved to—
Sol’s ears perked at the faint yet unmistakable sound of Lunaria’s voice and he abruptly turned about, his tail wagging expectantly.
“Lunaria!” he called before lowering his muzzle and taking off after her scent.

An overwhelming feeling nearly caved her chest in as soon as she heard her name being called from afar -- Sol was near! He returned to her! The ebony woman turned to find the male nearby and immediately bolted towards him, wrapping her arms forelimbs around him and nearly knocking the brute back into the snow.
"Solarus! You bastard, why did you leave!?" Her words would've sounded abrasive if it weren't for the series of happy tears that followed, and the spontaneous laughter which flooded the charred forest and carried through the trees.
