Ryon's nose lifted into the wind, taking in the hint of salt in the air. The willows around him swayed with the wind, the leaves brushing against each to make a soft noise that made his ears perked. It was unlike anything he had ever heard before. He proceeded slowly through the trees, wondering if the trees were talking to each other. What would they say if they did? He wasn't sure.

He was so engrossed in the conversation-like sound that he missed the pair of rabbits that were at the base of the tree. It wasn't until they dashed away into their hole that he realized the missed potential meal. He would have to remember that spot if he stuck around. As a matter of fact, now that he scanned the forest floor, this whole area might be ripe with prey. There were plenty of hiding spots, both for them and for himself. For now, he wanted to explore, so he allowed his legs to take him deeper into the forest

After finding Shard and his younger brother Alek, Void wasn’t expecting to find any more min. But on his daily rounds one day the scent of someone familiar hit his nose. He perked his ears and searched for who this was coming from. Then he spotted him. Nearly a spitting image of himself, jus across the way was a large black wolf.

“Ryon..?” Void asked tentatively and slowly walked forward
