Twitch did not want to share not one bite with this wolf and hissed again and threw a warning snap at the male's muzzle as he reached for a chunk of meat. As the other predator babbled on about how the rest of the meat belonged to the weasel (he would never eat it all, of course but that was not the point, it was his now) Twitch simply stared. He did not need to speak, or do anything else. The wolf took his stolen portion and settled some distance away, enough that the weasel was comfortable eating too. And so the two predators chowed away in silence, each watching the other.
