Junior listened to Blue Willow, having missed her aunt's sweet voice, though her attentive smile suddenly fell when she mentioned that she hoped to see Saena in leadership before she died. Her mouth opened to ask a question, though the Healer was talking about her pups now, so Junior didn't interrupt her. She scarcely heard their names, though, nor the facts of their paternity.
"What do you mean, 'before I die'? Are you sick?" Junior demanded with a fretful edge to her voice, exchanging a look with Saena. Blue Willow was still quite young, so the comment didn't make sense to the yearling... unless it would take years for Saena to ascend, which was a ludicrous thought.
