Elwood smiled at Sebastian's words. It was true; the last thing he had expected when he met Peregrine was to become his second-in-command. Beyond that, he had found love at the caldera as well. He was pleased with the way his life had turned out, and he hoped that Sebastian would find the same peace in time.

"There's no such thing as too dramatic," Elwood said with a laugh, and he truly believed his own words. He was dating Finley, after all, and she was arguably the most dramatic wolf in the pack. Guiding the conversation in a different direction, he then chose to ask, "Are you pursuing any trades? You seem to be well on your way to becoming a gamekeeper." He and Sebastian had hunted together not too long ago, and he had seen the grey male's skills first hand; there was no doubt that it would be easy for him to secure that job.
