Redhawk Caldera I don't like it, I love it

Elwood was - as usual - perfectly good-natured about her conflict as she babbled on about her decision, back and forth and back and forth again, trying to decide what it was she wanted.  Fortunately,  Elwood interrupted her confused thoughts to share his own opinion on the matter.


Fin listened as he explained that the connection he felt to his name was to his first name, not really the last.  She had known from the beginning that 'Elwood' was a family name and that generations of Grove men had been given it.  It probably should have occurred to her sooner that were they to ever have a son together, he would want him to be named 'Elwood'.  She had always liked his name, even though she insisted on referring to him as 'Twig'.  Maybe this was a win-win...

"Okay, you're on!" Finley said with a grin, "Elwood Blackthorn, and his son, Elwood Blackthorn.. Junior?  What number are you even on?"  Her tail wagged happily as she asked.
