His words caused her to laugh, the sound a shrieking, noxious sound, one that pierced the mind with its high pitch.

"Insanity! We'll show him insanity, won't we!"

She shared a look with her sister, and begins her terrible curse:

"Your mind falls behind
A large, dark, heavy cloud
Lost it will become with time
Your worst thoughts the only sound;

Gone is coherence, clarity, and fact
And in comes insanity, all else no longer intact."

She threw her arm at him, so whatever blood dribbled it would fly in his direction, laughing quite like the maniac she happened to be. Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye to your mind.

"Now you will know, like it or not," comes her angry voice, her mood shifting and returning to absolute hatred, all traces of amusement lost. She had cursed him to insanity; now he would know. Know that she was not insane... but that he was.
