Wildfire could only nod dumbly, then crack a small smile at Dante's remarks. "Yeah, I'm lucky," she agreed. "I knew about the caves underneath the caldera but I didn't know the tunnels went so far." And had she not just had a terrible experience down there, she might have enjoyed the spelunking opportunity. However, she declared, "I'm never going underground again, not even if it storms like that again." She shook her head almost defiantly.

Then she stilled, though her paws kept moving, of course. "Where were you when it hit?" Wildfire couldn't help but wonder, amber eyes fixing on the side of Dante's face. Seeing him in profile like this, she suddenly realized he was rather easy on the eyes. Handsome, she thought to herself, then grew suddenly bashful and forced her eyes to the road ahead even as her cheeks warmed.
