Dante didn't seem to know what had caused the grass to flatten like that. Wildfire continued to study the view. Once she got back home and recovered from her unexpected field trip, she would have to make a point to study the aftermath of the storm. It was part of her field of study as a Naturalist, after all. Maybe she could learn something from the damage it had wrought or maybe she would only walk away with an even greater respect for Mother Nature's unpredictable ferocity.
