Razorback Ridge the song of our lives

When Charon pointed out the location of the Sunspire, something clicked in Wildfire's head. "Oh, I've met a few wolves from there," she said. "The one named Kroc almost ate me. And, actually, I might have met Ame after all..." she thought out loud, recollecting her recent encounter in Sleepy Fox Hollow. They had never exchanged introductions (nor even a single word) but Wildfire had left with some pretty clear-cut impressions about the she-wolf's status.

But, wait... that didn't make much sense. Would the same wolf who had wordlessly escorted her away from the hollow—over which she was clearly possessive—give refuge to an injured outsider? That didn't really add up at all. She had no idea she was confusing the Sunspire with Sawtooth Spire, though maybe Charon would set her straight.

His next statement sidetracked her entirely. "Oh, wow," was Wildfire's initial reaction to such radical news. Packs could merge? How did that work? Well, she supposed she could make sense of it logically. It still struck her as quite a revolutionary move. "Is the bay small too?" she guessed, then queried, "Where will you go?"
