Her father, mother and brother usually attacked first and asked questions later (if at all). Wildfire was more diplomatic and less confrontational than the rest of her family. Although she was prepared to attack should it prove necessary, paw be damned, she didn't immediately go for the guy's throat.

She eyed him disapprovingly when he faced her, tongue lolling from his muzzle. "Are you aware you're on the caldera's territory?" she asked in a clipped tone, her blackened tail stiff behind her. It was quite possible he was a new recruit but he hadn't exactly bothered to make that clear right away. "State your name and business." The right this instant was implied in her tone.

The wolf remained rather unflappable as he explained that he had been accepted into the pack recently. Wildfire calmed down considerably, resuming her much more affable demeanor. She did remind him to be careful about introducing himself to everyone, lest someone else more dangerous mistake him for a trespasser. The two of them exchanged a bit of small talk and then Wildfire excused herself to hobble away to rest.
