Before she could answer his question about the difficulty of making more foxwolves, Roo guessed that his smell was the cause for her rejection. He yammered on about an inability to control his urges; when he smelled something funky, he had to roll in it. Wildfire managed to stifle her laughter, though she couldn't bite back the smile. He was so cute, in a puppy-like sort of way.

"Ummm," she said again, "sometimes." It was sort of a fib. Wildfire had never been one for rolling in dung, though she had witnessed several of her family members do it. "But that's not the reason," she continued. "Typically you only have puppies when you're old enough—which I'm not—and part of a mated pair." She paused. She wasn't officially involved with Floki, however... "I'm kind of with someone already," she let him know with an apologetic grimace, nose crinkling.
