Swapping life stories wasn't something he did often (if at all), so this wasn't surprising. Yet it led him to wonder if there wasn't more to Lasher's choice of this place than Dante's own opinion - a lovely forest, but mostly indifferent to the ocean's proximity. Perhaps the coast was why the man took such a liking.
