Ty sensed the faintest, most muffled sound of a burp, and she headed toward it, her cries becoming nothing more than quiet whimpers. Blind as a bat, the charcoal smudge ran right into Osprey Jr., though she stopped once her tiny sniffer picked up on the smell of milk hovering around her sister. Once again, her pink tongue sought her sister, though this time she licked only Osprey's muzzle where there were leftover bits of milk.

This licking of her sister went on for a minute or two before the big milk beast came back, and Ty once more gravitated toward it. Her pudgy legs propelled her forward, and her stub of a tail circled about uncontrollably.
