It didn't take long for the male to submit, exposing his underside to her. While a display of the neck would have sufficed, she approved of his respect. So far. She nodded her head, signalling for him to rise once more. Of course, he would still have to submit when Burke arrived but as for now he was in the clear. Looking him over, she noticed many scars engraved on his skin, signs of violence for sure. It showed much more than just the simple marking. It showed that the male could fight, that was was not a coward to say the least. Though, he would have to prove to be much more to gain access to their lands.
The statement was one she had already guessed followed by an answer similar to what she herself had thought upon her arrival at Blackfeather. Only to those who belonged did Blackfeather seem like home for many did not have the stomach to brave it's dark secrets. "What is your name?" She inquired, not wanting to seem ignorant to his obedience. While there was no definite answer to his request, names were a good start. The nervousness was normal, she found. Though she wondered if it was the woods or just her presence alone. It would fade, in time if one truly embraced it's darkness with all their soul like everyone in their ranks did.
"We don't take just anyone, Blackfeather is.. shall you say, much darker in spirit than the other packs. So why should we take you?" It was a valid question afterall. Also, she wondered if he had come intrigued by the Dark Brotherhood like she had. The answer, Brotherhood or not, would determine whether she would bother calling Burke at all. Many only stated they wanted shelter for the winter, which they would not permit at all. While still a pack, everyone carried their own weight. Freeloaders were simply not allowed.
