Before she could draw a conclusion, Tevinter solved her inner conflict by appearing. Without even thinking, the youthful Gamma jumped to her feet with a smile, giving his shoulder a companionable bump.

Then she remembered how he hadn't been thrilled with Floki's promotion, how the brothers had argued and how she hadn't seen hide nor hair of him in weeks. She stepped back, brow furrowing slightly again as she asked, "Hey, Tev, is everything all right? I haven't seen you in a while." She almost mentioned the fight, yet she swallowed the words.
