One petite paw struck the skittish rodent and her teeth followed, quickly crushing its tiny skull. Wildfire didn't hesitate before quickly bolting down the small catch. It all happened in one fast, fluid moment, and by the time she realized she wasn't alone, the meat was sliding into her stomach.

She licked her lips and looked up to incidentally catch Kaylan's eye. Wildfire blinked, ears pricking, as he came closer and shifted his posture. Her tail twitched slightly upward, the tip waving. Although she was still not feeling particularly social today, the fact that the pack's resident wildcard was coming to her was not an everyday occurrence. She wasn't going to scare him off by being an uncharacteristic bitch.
