When Charon called her a dork, Wildfire couldn't resist. "Same to you, ass," she replied, her tone turning it into a term of endearment. She smirked, feeling a little bold again but enjoying meeting his banter pace for pace. They were siblings-in-law now, right? This was just par for the course.

Their conversation ceased as they fell to the task of prepping and storing the doe's remains. It was a long and gruesome undertaking which took several hours. By the end of it, Wildfire desperately needed a bath. But she felt a glowing satisfaction after long day of hard work and when she promptly crashed out after a quick wash, there was a smile on her lips.
