It was an interesting standoff to be sure, but one that had its echoes in history. Burke had slipped, whether he intended to or realized his mistake when he made it. Surely, he must have known that there would be repercussions behind bringing this woman and her spawn here. Surely, he must have been thinking that when the famine came. Surely, if he was the wise king they knew, he would have thought of that.

But people weren't always what they seemed.

She thought for a moment, keeping quiet to herself as her brother lashed out at Burke, slowly realizing something. Her eye widened for a moment, it's pupil focusing accusingly at Malice. And what of her pack then, in Phantom Hollow? What became of them after you stole their alpha away from them? During the famine no less! She hardly knew of the pack and its inhabitants, but she knew how devestating it was to lose one's leader in a time of great need. Had they even had someone to take the reins after Malice fled here?
