Chimera Fields Harder than a bullet could hit ya?

The field was an enigma. One half was covered in foliage, teeming with bees that left a few stings along both women as they traveled through it. The second half was not much better, it was covered in thick mud that oozed with earthworms especially given that it had rained recently. Silent seemed to have gotten a kick out of that, seeing Aniu drenched in the precipitation and grumbling to herself about bees and rain.

Several birds were drawn to the fresh worms that seemed to coat the ground, none large enough to really get her attention. Aniu halted when she caught sight of a quail poking around, pulling earthworms from the ground and swallowing them back with a tilt of the head. Aniu stuck a leg out in front of Silent, whom was looking around the field in interest.

Once the deaf girl had stopped, Aniu gestured to the game bird with her muzzle, crouching and making as if to leap. Only problem was, the mud was too slick for her to leap and instead she practically dove into the mud; souring her mood even further.
