She was quiet, a shadow against the golden bay as the currents ribboned there way around her paws, creating miniature riptides in the shallows. Her attention was no longer averted to the cliffs, distracted and pleading for one of the supernatural to make their presence visible. Instead her golden eyes danced upon the crested waves in the place where the Angel had vanished beneath the surface, entranced in the presence of such a gentle blessing. This time her rumbling chuff was directed towards the Sea Mother herself, willing for the creature of the deep to surface and allow her own eyes to look upon the thing of wonder once more.

Sea birds wheeled above, presumable drawn by the whale at the possible prospect of a free meal and the inky soldier sat still, her posture tense as her focus was drawn to a certain gull that had made its resting point the skin of the ocean herself. Their presence there brought a faint hope that the Hunter still resided beneath her sights and, after a brief moment of utter silence, her desire was granted.

In an explosion of white surf and glittering droplets, the creature broke the surface, it's magnificent head aimed for the bird as it took off for the safety of the rocks behind her. The angels cry was a thing of gutteral beauty as its dark hide was swallowed up by the shadowed water. The soldier watched and waited, her charcoal banner held still as her aurum orbs scanned the sea for the shaded figure of the Hunter, ears pricking as a series of eery whistles and clicks echoed faintly through the cove, almost gentle in spite of the creatures size. Janai knew no danger connected to this blessing and replied in her own tongue, enchantment keeping her paws rooted the sand bank. "Mitä sinä puhut?" she called, her voice ragged compared to the sylph-like wake of the other. "What do you speak of?"
