A wolf didn't get to be that way without a pack, so far as he knew.

Lifting his head, he howled for @Steady, wondering what she might need him for. If she wished to join them, he doubted she would be turned down. If they'd accepted him in the midst of a famine, surely they would find no fault in inviting this shewolf into their home.
