The latter appeared not long after leaving and she paused in her pacing to exchange a look with him. She let Floki cross her mind but only for an instant. She resumed walking back and forth, wearing a trail in the leaf litter on the forest floor and only stopping when Freyja finally reappeared at the foot of a nearby hill.
