Broken Boulder enter stage right

A name. A question. This was what she had been given to work with. Ty did not rush to answer, allowing the words to loiter in her head for a moment. Names were not something she forgot, even if it was a single encounter. Jökull was this one, and she had asked if Ty was familiar with "these parts."

"Mmm," came her answer, with a clarification following. "I was born nearby, but I haven't lived here for a long time. The landscape hasn't changed, but the residents have." Tytonidae was one of those residents, and she had moved on long ago. First from her birthplace to The Sunspire, then to Sedona, then to meander about the world at her own pace.

"Guessing you're not?" she asked.

He muttered something in response, but Ty couldn't quite catch it. Before she had a chance to reply, he was already scuffling away. She watched him for a moment, perturbed, then shrugged and went on her way. There was no need to follow somebody who obviously didn't want to be followed.
