Anxious as she was, she tried to move away gently so as not to bring further attention to the innocent faux pas. His gentle laughter helped the effort, and soon enough she found herself relaxing back into his company - a little wiser about how to interact appropriately with him than before. Which isn't to say she wouldn't try again to touch him in the future - They were wolves, and physical contact was their way - but she would be more mindful of his feelings as they grew closer as packmates.
