With so much going on recently - the birth of his children, Sylvas's absence, all the trouble with Heartha - it wasn't surprising that Grayday had forgot about the new recruits for a bit. In particular, he was surprised one evening by an unfamiliar sight. A white shewolf was at the crest of the hill, under the shade of one of the cuesta's scant population of oaks. For a moment, his fur bristled - but then the wind shifted, the the male realized his mistake.
It was only Gwen. Truthfully, Grayday'd forgotten she was even in the pack. After he'd accepted her, there'd been so much going on - the short conversation they'd had was now almost completely pushed from his mind.
Guiltily, he set off in her direction, wanting to touch bases with the lonely woman before he forgot about her again. "Hey, Gwen," he called, slowing down the last several paces before settling himself beside her. "I haven't seen much of you - how're ya settlin' in?"
