Heron Lake Plateau giving the best of what's left

When the female backed away a pace, it put Ty at ease to some degree. The dark female continued to eat, scarfing the food down until her belly was bloated and she felt heavy. She felt satisfied, content, and a lot more comfortable now that she wasn't hungry. Ty licked her chops, bits of food still hanging around on her teeth and lips.

Without warning, a burp erupted from her belly, and she shot a glance to her dining companion before bursting into a laugh. "Sorry for all the, uh... tension. Food isn't easy to come by, and you never know what strangers are gonna do." A full belly made Tytonidae a much easier wolf to be around. "I'm Tytonidae. Thanks for sharing the meal."
