As the others began to arrive, @Stockholm among them, @Cascada seemed to somehow shrink into herself. The point @Constantine presented was a justified one, but the Earthstalker bristled nonetheless — and it wasn’t entirely because of the fiery-eyed Mayfair’s blunt rejoinder. The proposed congress had fallen apart in a matter of minutes. The trio of @Axolotl, Cascada, and @Komodo splintered abruptly into just Cascada and Komodo — and with the green-eyed girl’s sudden and unannounced departure from the group’s umpteenth impromptu meeting, “council” became a moot point.

No one could really be blamed. The Leviathan’s tempestuous temperament was as untamed as his god and the russet-and-cream caretaker was yet hollowed out with troubles unspoken.

Once again, the seawolves unsurprisingly found themselves in a state of ongoing division and dissention. Though neither of them spoke of these things aloud, @Aria’s inclination was to follow Komodo and @Maera’s was ostensibly to support Axolotl. Coelacanth — and by extension, Stockholm — found the idea of a council appealing enough, but when it fell apart before her very eyes, her tufted ears drooped in dismay and uncertainty. She could no more decide between Axolotl and Komodo than she could between Axolotl and @Ixchel. On that note, the calico Tiamat had not even made an appearance here.

Squabbles arose here and there, and although Komodo and Coelacanth made attempts to placate the restless seawolves, they were left with the same amount of uncertainty as before by the time they dispersed to sleep in spaced out pockets of solitude.
