She glared grumpily at the Big Grey Mountain she'd been trying to climb, but he was already heading off, tail wagging happily behind him. Easy exchanged a curious look with Lavender before tearing off after her father, siblings in tow.

Day, of course, reached his son before the younger three. "Sunny," he greeted, half-tackling the boy and gnawing happily on an ear. "Come meet the kids!" It was not necessary to travel far; the kids caught up almost as soon as Day turned back to them. "This is Easy, Lavender, and Dauntless.
