He'd doubted it at the time, but now that Dawn had come completely out of the shell she'd hidden in as a babe, it seemed just like her idea of a passtime. Anything that challenged a normal wolf did, after all.

"If she doesn't take to it, I'll eat my paw," he added for good measure. "But yeah, I guess I'll keep leading them, if there's no one else. After you grow my paw back, of course."
