Furi slowly blinks a few times, feeling the warmth on one side of her body and not the other. It takes a few seconds to register where she is, her jaws parting in a long, tired yawn. She bats away the water the swells in her eyes and she tries to stretch out, meeting resistance as she realizes Rose is still there. A part of her expected the girl to leave at some point when she’d fallen asleep but she’s glad she’s still in one spot, still slumbering away. Her tail thumps on the ground and she noses the fur behind her ears. At first, she doesn’t want to disturb her, so she retreats and leans back against the sandy wall of the dune, thick underbrush blocking out the pale morning sun, and she waits until @Rose shows the first signs of movement.
