The Tangle hips that could bear you a buffalo

Eirlys is not the sick little girl she remembers because, just like Furi, she grew up too. And she’s exploring (we’ll call it that) and she’s alone and yeah, most definitely rock birds are a thing because Eiri says they are. Everything about Furi’s posture softens and when her sister takes a step forward, she closes the distance. Immediately, she sweeps the other girl up and takes a deep breath, matching it to a memory she thought she’d lost long ago. Green eyes close and she waits, trying to listen to what she has to say but she can’t focus on them.
 
Furi blinks a few times, snaking herself free and search her face. “What?” she manages to say, putting her nose to the girl’s tear soaked cheek.
