He walked a few steps closer before sitting down and giving her a friendly smile. "I am pretty fond of the stars. There's something calming about them," he answered. He moved his green gaze from her and back up to the sky. He thought coming out here to bask under the night sky would quiet his thoughts, but it seemed it just made things worse. All it did was remind him of her.

Wanting to redirect his thoughts, he turned back to the new wolf and said, "I'm Kavik, by the way. I'm new here."
