Heron Lake Plateau Hoping for real betterness

He looked... better.  She still didn't think he looked great with as tired and forlorn as he seemed to be, but at least it seemed (at least from where she was) that his shoulder was not bothering him so much anymore.  And, well, maybe this was just Quixote's normal.  She wasn't sure she had seen him any better than this.

Yikes.

Looks like it, she supplied, tail swaying amiably behind her.  Checkin' somethin' out?  She bent to sniff where he was and only caught the fresh scent of packmate.
