The feeling was more unsteady as she stood there, her weight felt more heavy and the chills got more violent. When she looked over her shoulder again she saw something coming toward her. The ebony female squinted her fiery auds in hopes of seeing what was approaching but it was with no luck. It seemed like just a shadow coming toward her but as it grew bigger and came closer she realized it wasn't just a shadow.

It was a very real feeling in this moment, knowing there wasn't much she could do but hope help comes. Yeah, she could howl and bark for help but would they come in time? The feeling of being alone when you're so scared and threatened by something, now she knows how the doe and her fawn felt when they were killed. The heart that was supposed to be in her chest dropped not even to the ground it felt farther, like to the roots of a tree.  There was no cowering from her. If she was going to die, right here and right now, she was going to fight. This would be the first fight of her life. The one that would truly decide if she was strong enough to even be on her own. On the outside she was emotionless but on the inside she was all a mess.
