Follow the water -- that had become her modus operandi of this leg of her trip. From that creek she'd now run along in sight or scent of the water, ending up at a large lake that sprawled before her. The water had been kind to her. Fish were predictable, and she could probably even get used to eating them more regularly than the odd snack they currently were. A little bit of effort, sure, but they weren't particularly smart and you didn't have to chase them super far -- either you caught 'em or you didn't.
It was still morning now as she sniffed around some old tracks, trying to guess who the wolf was that might have left them a few days past. More and more wolves. There had to be more packs up ahead too. She'd seen herds in her travels as well -- plenty of resources for all those who lived here. Seemed pretty much like paradise. She still had more investigations to make, though, and finding another wolf or two to talk to about who all was around would be high enough on her list. Skydance was alert, ears flicking about at the sounds of the world, hoping to find what she was seeking... Or she'd just give up and try to catch another fish.
