"because you're a wolf, not a deer!" she explained, giving him a nudge to the side-- which tickled!!-- and caused marten to squirm over and onto his back. oh! he was a wolf! that made sense, actually. he wiggled a little more-- like a beetle on it's back-- before he got into his favorite position of army crawl and stared up at his mama curiously. "'m tire now," he informed her. easy fix. and so indra and marten and little merrick curled up for a quick little cat nap.
