Reed would have probably decided to do this anyway, but Seelie was grateful when the little firebrand acquiesced to go with her mother, dimming the denmouth briefly before disappearing from view. Without lifting her head, the sheepdog offered a fluting whine to her husband, who padded over to curl beside her.
