Wheeling Gull Isle not unlike the waves

Like her sister, Thresher was content to stay alongside their father and watch as Coelacanth zipped this way and that, pursued by Sixgill who put in a valiant effort. Eventually, his efforts paid off and their mother flopped to the ground- at which point Thresher left Stockholm’s side and joined Six in nuzzling and tickling Coelacanth’s side, though with more gentleness. 

When Coelacanth spoke a word, it was one that was new to Thresher- but she was intrigued. Her floppy beige ears pricked comically, their tall, pointed tips crossing above her head. What exactly was a cookie?
